T-Mobile and Google’s Android?

Yes! The details have come in and it looks like T-mobile will be the first company to get the Android from Google. Yes, you heard right. The FIRST! I am not sure how they will play it through with the other phone companies but the system was actually built by HTC (which also made my Mogul which I LOVE). No details were given but it looks promising.

Sprint Sell IDEN Network

Thats right people. Sprint should hold their head in shame. They keep making stupid decisions that cost them money because they contineu to lose customers. Common Sprint! They will focus on just the CDMA and wimax network. They said they canceled a 3 B dollar debt payment. I think they are going insane!

Opera Mobile 9.5 Rolled Out

It looks like the beta for Opera Mobile has been rolled out for individuals. It has been delayed for some time but it boasted and promised to do all kinds of super neat things that other mobile browsers could not. I will be testing it soon and will follow up with what I found out about it. It is a great little browser from the looks of things but looks could be deceiving.

One up for Iphone Users

It looks like At&t will allow all of its iphone users to get free access to the At&t wifi networks. The reason is unknown but the span of locations are huge. They are located in Starbucks to all kinds of other places. There is no eta for the drop of it but at least its one more thing that At&t throws on it. Lets see if that also help iphone users become slightly more technical.

Companies Complain to the FCC

As of these cellular companies don’t spend enough money lobbying comgressmen to vote their way, it looks like they are going after the FCC for the new implementation of the free mobile broadband that they have planned. Thats right, the FCC is looking to launch free mobile broad band and these insane companies have the giblets to go to them and tell the FCC to knock it off. My concern is that why are they not competing with better services instead of being negative. I hope the FCC punches them in the face!

Verizon Settling

It looks like Verizon will pay 21 million to settle a lawsuit that came to them. The lawsuit was built against Verizon because of the early termination fees that they kept filing against their customers. This will also make the FCC go one step future and provide legal limits on what cellular phone organizations can charge for many of those darn useless fees.

Final Review Of Cellular Router

SO this is my final review of the cellular routers that was provided to me by the awesome people at powerful signal.com. The last review (most recent) I was able to do some latency testing which I was unable to do before because my previous test was done to ensure the integrity of the data and consistency. The latency is usually for the market of gamers. Most gamers require a HIGH availablity from the router AND the network connection. If you dont have one then latency can be affected. With the technology still being new (aircards by carriers) the latency is slightly tough on fast paced games like your Quakes. The mobile router itself did a BANG UP job with a wireless LAN game we were playing. It was a bandwidth hog and the router took it like a champ. I even had someone else connect to the router to see if it would take on the gaming and normal surfing and it did with ease. Its a great little router for what it does and it can take on the big boys of the router industry. I love working with technology and I have to thank Powerful Signal again for letting me review and beat up the router to ensure that it meets your needs. Check out the video review below

Sprint Billing Sucks

I just reviewed my bill today and it was 80 dollars off then what I owed! I so I contacted Sprint through my phone and apparently the bill I received was wrong. MY issue is that if the bill was just recently printed and i had paid my account a few weeks ago, why didn’t it show up until recently. Is it an issue on Sprints side? I disowned a lot of the issues people were having with Sprint but this being my second month with them really isn’t showing me any positives.

New Windows Mobile 5 and 6 Widgets

It looks like the company “Access” will be launching a new set of widgets specifically designed for the windows mobile phones. if you have been living under a rock, a widget is a small application built for a certain function. However, because the API is consistent with the operating system, it should be stable, accessible, and take very little memory to run. Also, it is essentally what made Firefox and the iphone so popular. Lets see how they play out on the slightly buggy OS.

Sprint Dealing Blows

it looks like Sprint is now letting all of the all of its subscribers to get Business Premier Account. This will allow an increase of integration within Sprint (which has been difficult considering their merger with Nextel). Here is the difficult part of the new system: they need to continue to increase services all the while addressing concerns. The program helps reduce prices on phones and services. They will also have points to use.
