I am amazed. A portion of congress (we will call them the senate) just had a bill come from it today called the Cellphone Consumer Empowerment Act provides consumers with protections from the federal government. It allows the government to oversee billing, contracts, and phone locking from cell phone companies. It looks like they might just look to see why cell phone companies lock phones that we pay for! Of course the CTIA states that it will be bad for consumers. Of course it would CTIA. Why do consumers need government oversight when you have been doing such a bang up job keeping consumer rights on top of your priority list! (ending sarcasm…………………………NOW! LOL)
