Ah phone insurance
Are we really “insured” when we get phone insurance? Isn’t the reason for insurance to be there and ensure that I receive a similar or replacement product if I lose or someone steals my phone. Its a gamble I realize but then again I pay a certain amount of month to be insured. That is why I was so upset to hear that my friend just dropped her phone in her drink when she was super drunk. I think we have all done it at least once during our phone times (weather it be a drink or pool or any body of water). She received her replacement and the company promptly terminated her insurance once they sent her a new phone. It is amazing that we do pay them to be insured and yet they can drop us when we use the insurance. Its mind boggling. Wouldn’t it have been a better idea if she would have sent in 10 dollars to a bank every month for the two years she was paying for insurance which totals to about roughly 240 dollars and never once used the insurance before. She than would have been able to put that money towards a new phone (which is better than a new old phone in my opinion). Ah, the intricacies of insurance.
