Keyocera wants to buy Sanyo
Sanyo is the final throws of meetings to get its mobile division to be sold to Keyocera. According to many analysts, Sanyo was in the process of going into a loss and they feel they will be better redistributed if they lose their Sanyo phones. According to Sanyo, the handset division was going to be profitable by the end of this year. The deal is a large sum of 434 million dollars and will make Keyocera one of the 10 largest handset manufacturers in the world. I like the idea of Sanyo getting rid of the phone side of their products because they make an excellent product but they cant quiet cut up to the recent types of phones that others are creating. They are just not keeping up. However, I do have a problem with Keyocera purchasing the phones because I find their products also very offensive. They are definitely on the cheaper side of phones and hopefully this does bring up their standards as a phone manufacturer.
