Big News For Sprint Users
Yay for the users! Sprint has agreed that they are willing to unlock their phones due to a class action lawsuit that stated that Sprint has illegally locked their phones even after the contract is over and the consumer has essentially owned the phone (can we say duh?). I am glad this was the case and I hope that the courts continue to favor the consumer on issues that should easily been identified. Sprint will also train its own employees to activate non phones on their network. The settlement will encompass 1999 to 2007 and beyond. There is another lawsuit in Florida that will also provide the users with the same liberties. I say good work courts and keep it up! Also, thank you to those who did go into the law suit for such a ridiculous issue to begin with.
