The Apple IPhone
I was getting into a heated discussion with one of my friends about the Apple IPhone. According to him, it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I wanted him to explain to me in technical terms why it was better than a PDA phone. He started spouting a bit of information that he considered truthful (like other players do not have enough memory, they don’t have a nice screen, they cant play videos, etc). As I watched him in amusement, I realized that Apple is really selling its features really well. The fact that he was oblivious to other phones being able to do all the functions he listed and more is the fact that Apple has played their cards really well. My XV 6700 can play any video you can throw at it, it has a card 4 gig that can be replaced with other cards, it has a bluetooth function, it plays native youtube videos with the browser (with tweaks though), and I can open the battery case!! I tried to explain to him the obtuse reasoning behind the case and he agreed with Apple. i just hope I am around long enough to see his battery die and sending it off for replacement. I cant wait to ask him how much it cost him over and over again lol.
