Cell Phone Prices Will FALL!

My readers, check out the start of something wonderful. Virgin Mobile is now offering a 80$ unlimited plan. that’s right, it is the start of price wars in cell phones. If they will start at 80, others will also drop their prices in order to compete AND the free market will reign. You can get the whole shabang a bang at 90 dollars total which includes other services.

Going to Chicago

One of my good freinds was looking to pick up and head out to Chicago. He was going to meet up with his mother in law and, at the least, should have a good trip there even though he wont have too much fun being there lol. I told him that he should check out Chicago travel and see if he could find any good deals and even stay in a hotel if he gets a “package deal”

Virgin Mobile Puts Its “N’s” In

It looks like virgin mobile buys helio for an estimated 39 million (17 million in shares). It will acquire it and most of the technology that it has. Virgin also feels that it will be able to help Sprint as a partner and really develop some cool features and systems on their new phones. I think its a good move and I hope that also provides Helio customers better service as well.

My Friends Vacation

One of my good friends is looking to take a trip to St. Thomas. That, in itself, is a pretty awesome trip. However, he is looking to find a place to stay there but has no idea what to do. I told him that one of the best things he could do for himself and his super cute girlfriend is go for St. Thomas villa rentals. I hear they are superb and well worth the price. They are sometimes on the beach and are very romantic. I see wedding bells in the near future for Jorge!

Sprint Pushing Features

It looks like Sprint is starting to realize that they are in trouble with the gigantic company of Verizon-Vodaphone and are looking to keep stakes in the US. They will be launching a visual search beta through Thrrum which allows anyone with a camera phone to send a picture of anything which will be recognized by Thrrum’s visual recognition software and send back what it is. Sounds interesting.

Review Part 2: Cellular Router

So guys, here is my second portion of the review of the mobile router that I had been testing all week. I had to stop testing due to some sprint related issues but I am back and running and now the system has been up successfully for a week with continuous data connectivity. The verdict…this thing is a beast! I spoke about reciving the product last time and how neat it was to receive it and test it. The cellular routers company is powerful signal and it has been a great honor to do so. The features of the product are that you are able to setup a wifi hot spot anywhere (which is wonderful for off site gaming). You can use it to provide your whole class with wifi access, for example. It supports USB, PCMCIA and express card (through a universal adapter). Its a G router so it supports up to 54 Mbps and it has two (yes two) Ethernet ports running at 100Mbps.

LCD Stuff

One of my good friends was looking for a way to put up his new LCD screen. He wanted somthing fashinable but nothing that was too cheesy. I did some research for him and I saw some pretty neat mounts that he could use. One lcd mount that I thought was superb was the premier mount. What a elegant piece of furniture that totally adds to the room!

Starter Phone By T-Mobile

It looks like T-mobile will start offering a new starter phone called the Samsung T229 which has all the basic features of any entry level phone. It is one of newer phones that are now compatible with MyFaves and will setup with a CDMA band 0f the standard 850/1800/1900 calling band. They will offer it at a sticker price of 30 dollars with new two year contracts. My thoughts…its WAY to expensive with a two year contract.

Sprint Strong

It looks like Sprint is making headway with some new services. One new service is called AAA Roadside service. You may have heard of AA BUT the cool thing is now you can dial AAA on your phone and you will be directly connected with the AAA crew! Okay, its not that cool but still…I have no idea how to end that sentence!
