One of my good friends was looking to purchase a watch for his dad. His dad has always wanted a Rolex but, unfortunately, could never afford one. My friend wanted my opinion and I told him the next best thing is to get a used Rolex. The reason they are better is because they dont have the initial value drop when you buy it new but they do keep their value for a very long time. They are sturdy and great watches and I think anyone would be happy to have one.
