My Garage
I recently purchase my house (2005) and I have a fairly new and fresh concrete garage floor. I have heard that many people have been laying down epoxy on their garage floors in order to increase the life of the floor and minimize the amount of wear and tear and stains that occur from day to day driving and working in the garage. I do, however, always have two cars in there and I think that the wear on the garage floor will start to really show in a few years. For example, there are some strains from after an oil change where the grease was not completely cleaned from the oil drain plug. I do have to think that it is only a few years old and that continued wear will start to show and eventually ruin my garage floor (which will make me go crazy to say the least). I will be looking into an epoxy floor soon.
